Cong CMs join Opp, NCTC future bleak

The Centre’s renewed move to establish National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) met with a stiff resistance on Wednesday from all the Opposition Chief Ministers as well as those from Congress-ruled Karnataka, Maharashtra and Assam. Incidentally, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde did not refer to NCTC in their speeches at the CMs’ conference on the internal security.
