Attack on Modi backfires

Minister for Rural Development and senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh found himself in an awkward situation after his own party distanced itself from his controversial remarks against Gujarat CM Narendra Modi. Ramesh had dubbed Modi as Bhasmasur, a mythological character known for trying to destroy his creator, and India's "first authentic fascist".
