Spat between IB and CBI is most unwelcome

The public scuffle between the Intelligence Bureau and the Central Bureau of Investigation over the controversial killing of Ishrat Jahan in an encounter near Ahmedabad is in bad taste and does no credit to either of the two premier agencies. The battle between the two broke out after the CBI began questioning the inputs that the IB had provided to the local police in the run-up to the encounter.
