Naxal challenge is a war against the nation

Writing in these colu-mns earlier, I had discussed the dimensions of the Naxal menace highlighted by the recent ambush at Jiram Ghati in Chhattisgarh. If there has been any conspiracy by any political party, it must be investigated and the law should take its course. However, we must know how a convoy of VIPs was allowed to be caught like sitting ducks. Mahendra Karma, founder of Salwa Judum, who had escaped earlier attempts on his life was the prime target.
