Towards poll reforms

The Bharatiya Janata Party has made two important recommendations in the direction of electoral reforms, and the Law Commission to which the suggestions will go as well as other political parties must see the merit in them. The main Opposition party has said that the issue of disqualification of members of Parliament or State Assemblies should be decided by the Election Commission and not the Speaker of the House concerned.
