CBI autonomy move camouflage: BJP

Dismissing the Cabinet's recommendations on enhancing CBI's autonomy as a "camouflage", leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley on Sunday said the government, by proposing a panel of retired judges to monitor CBI investigations, was creating an "illusion" of removing itself from the scene while perpetuating political control through a "proxy" mechanism.
