PMRD fellows: Double standards and a clean chit

I was surprised to read about Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh writing to Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, directing him to stop an ongoing police investigation at Gadchiroli because it involves a Prime Minister's Rural Development (PMRD) fellow.
