A trial court laid the restless ghost of the Batla House 'encounter' of September 19, 2008 to rest in Delhi on Thursday, declaring it genuine and convicting the lone suspect, alleged Indian Mujahideen (IM) member Shahzad Ahmad, for the killing of decorated police officer M.C. Sharma.
