Ever widening chasm
It should be clear by now that sophistry has failed to disguise the disharmony between the Congress and the Government it leads over the anti-corruption agitation launched by ‘civil society’. While the Government continues to insist on the exclusion of the Prime Minister and the higher judiciary from the purview of the proposed Lok Pal Bill, senior party functionaries like Mr Digvijay Singh have favoured their inclusion.
