A split that has left Cong wide open in AP

The decision to grant statehood to Telangana has prompted its MPs and ministers from Seemandhra to make complicated demands and claim over Hyderabad. The decision on Telangana has created a bigger wedge within the state Congress. While the Congress high command had anticipated violent protests in the state, it hadn't foreseen the viciousness the statehood decision would trigger among Congressmen.
