Telangana move may have boomeranged on Congress

You may have heard of the old tale about a king ordering a habitual delinquent to choose between eating a hundred onions or suffer a hundred lashes. And the poor fellow ending up undergoing both punishments alternately! Well, the Congress party in its panic at seeing Andhra Pradesh slip out of its grasp in the coming parliamentary poll is faced with the very real prospect of losing both Telangana and the rest of Andhra.
