Fast and furiously, Delhi set for food security scheme

Two days from Sunday, on Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary, Delhi is set to become among the first states to launch the Congress's ambitious food security scheme. The only other state to do so may be Haryana, also ruled by the Congress. If Delhi committed itself grandiosely to the task, with just one month to go for the deadline last month, it was not just because state elections are only months away.
