Cong’s biggest worry: Modi pulling a Mamata in national elections

The Congress’ biggest adversary is not the BJP party. It is Narendra Modi. The good news for the party is that it has correctly identified its nemesis. The bad news is that the party is itself responsible for creating their biggest nightmare. In all democracies, it is easier for  voters to become more enamoured with a person than a party platform. In recent state elections in India for instance, personality has been the decisive factor determining victory.
