Army's border roads in trouble

India's timidity in the face of aggressive Chinese moves along the 4,000-km border between the two Asian giants isn't limited to military tactics. India is far behind in infrastructure building in the border areas of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh, a recent assessment conducted by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) says, blaming bureaucratic delay, environmental issues and lack of manpower for leaving strategic projects in the doldrums.
