In defence of the ‘populist’ Sonia Gandhi

To defend Sonia Gandhi is to risk extreme vilification. In the robust rupee debate many partisan passions have surfaced, but the general consensus seems to be veering around to mismanagement and corruption flourishing under the UPA government. I am not qualified to analyze if the fall in the value of the rupee is the result of global turbulence or the handiwork of Manmohan and Chidambaram.
