JPC must hear Raja in 2G case: NCP backs DMK's call

In a fresh twist to JPC's controversial 2G report, Congress ally NCP has demanded DMK's A Raja be allowed to tell the committee his side of the story - a surprise move that can tilt numbers against UPA in the panel. NCP's move deepens the uncertainty over the fate of the draft report that indicts Raja, lets off Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, rejects CAG's Rs 1.76 lakh crore loss calculation and slams NDA for Rs 40,000 crore loss.
