Lalu becomes 2nd CM to be lodged in Ranchi Jail

Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad became the second Chief Minister after former Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda to be lodged in the hi-tech Birsa Munda Central Jail. Like Koda, Lalu has also been lodged in the upper division cell where Koda remained for about three and a half years. Senior RJD leader Suresh Paswan and Jharkhand Minister Annapruna Devi were to first to meet him inside the jail just after he was shifted into it.
