Jagan calls for 72-hour bandh to stall Andhra Pradesh division, Kiran calls meeting

Describing the Union Cabinet's decision to clear Telangana as more painful than his 16-month jail term, YSR Congress party chief Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday said his party will fight a legal battle to stall the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and gave a call for a 72-hour bandh starting Friday. He also hinted that he could sit on indefinite fast in protest against the Centre's decision.
