Netas engineered riots in UP: Rahul

Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday warmed up for the 2014 Lok Sabha battle by blaming the Muzaffarnagar riots on political parties which incite communal tension for votes, in a thinly disguised attack on the BJP and SP. "There are political forces that think they cannot win elections if there are no riots. So, they want Hindus and Muslims to fight," he said. In his first comments on the riots, Rahul did not name any party. However, that he was referring to the BJP and SP was not lost on his audience.
