In an apparent bid to placate Manmohan Singh days after terming an ordinance introduced by the government as “nonsense”, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi called the Prime Minister his “political guru”. Gandhi said he met the PM after he had criticised the ordinance. “I was joking with the prime minister after the ordinance (controversy) and I told him what was in my heart. I told him we have learnt from him,” he said.
