Young MPs have failed to live up to the expectations

India, with 65 per cent of its population below the age of 35, expected the young MPs to take the country beyond the cynical political culture of the day. But they have failed to live up to the expectations. The role that the youth plays in our country’s politics has been the subject of a spirited debate for some time. This debate gains traction in the public space as elections get closer.
