Naidu’s NDA entry on hold till Telangana sorted out

The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP's) move to bring N. Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) into the NDA fold has been put on hold until the time the Telangana issue is resolved. A senior BJP leader told The Sunday Guardian that there are differences of opinion between the BJP and the TDP over Telangana. Naidu started a fast against the Centre's move to create Telangana, while the BJP is maintaining that it is not opposed to the creation of Telangana, but the division has to be smooth.
