Headquarters Gandhinagar: A chosen few charting Modi's course to Delhi

There is only one room with a balcony in the Rs 150-crore Swarnim Sankul (Golden Jubilee Complex) at Gandhinagar, marking 50 years of Gujarat's formation. It belongs to the chief minister. Every time Narendra Modi stands there or even looks up from his desk inside, he can see a 42-metre-high mound, 92-metre broad at its base, some distance away.
