Parakh says MPs pressured him

Whistleblower P. C. Parakh had made several attempts to expose corruption within the ministry during his tenure as coal secretary. Not only did Parakh write to the then Cabinet Secretary B.K. Chaturvedi about coal mafia within the coal ministry in 2005, as reported earlier by Mail Today - he also wrote to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) about Members of Parliament putting pressure on him to get their candidates employed in coal companies.
