MSY warns rioters, recalls order to shoot kar sevaks

After paying homage to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and Acharya Narendra Dev at a hurriedly convened ceremony in Lucknow on Thursday, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Mulayam Singh Yadav made a confession: "My situation was like that of Arjun when I ordered firing at Kar Sevaks in Ayodhya." Speaking to party workers at the party headquarters, Mulayam described Patel and Dev as pillars of Indian democracy whose contribution towards independent India and its consolidation cannot be overlooked.
