Anti-communalism fronts fool only a gullible few

There is little cause for the BJP to lose sleep over the fact that 14 parties came together at the People’s Unity Against Communalism rally in New Delhi on Wednesday. A front against communalism may sound like a grouping against the BJP, but in today’s context of brazenly opportunistic politics, convergence comes from common interests and not from ideologically driven policies or love for Muslims.
