Bihar as terror hub: MHA proposes NIA field unit in Patna

With Bihar and Jharkhand emerging as the new terror hubs and proving to be fertile grounds for recruitment and training of terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM), the government has mooted a proposal to set up a field unit of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The region has long been facing threats from Left-wing extremism because of which NIA wanted to establish its presence.
