Maya takes all, gives Congress nothing but shock

Bahujan Samaj Party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati categorically declared on Saturday that she would not enter into any electoral alliances with anyone for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Thus, she brought to a rude end Congress' hopes of having a seat sharing arrangement with the BSP, whose fortunes are said to be on an upswing in an electorally crucial Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha seats.
