Congress in danger of being Marginalised across India

Congress is staring at a vast barren patch across the country, with more and more states pushed out of its reach with every election, a reason why stakes are high for the party in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The two central Indian states are threatening to fall in the 'dark zone' where Congress becomes virtually out of contention for power. Having lost two successive elections in MP and Chhattisgarh, a hat-trick of losses could disintegrate the party organization beyond repair as has happened in many states.
