BJP plays it cool in Modi's defence

Taken aback at first, the BJP has got its act together on the snowballing Snoopgate controversy that has hit the party where it hurts most. Confident that it has enough ammunition to use against the UPA to offset what it is now committed to describe as a "completely frivolous controversy" aimed at tarnishing the image of its prime ministerial hopeful Narendra Modi, the party has formed a phalanx to block the current bombardment, and attack later.
