UP reply on riots to SC contradicts Akhilesh's claims

The Uttar Pradesh government has told the Supreme Court that there is no parallel between Muzaffarnagar and Gujarat riots. The government has also denied that the communal riots were linked to the three murders in Kawal town of Muzaffarnagar. This, however, contradicts the repeated claims of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav that a fake video clip circulated by BJP MLAs had triggered the clashes.
