Is this the new normal?

The big poser after the second-quarter GDP numbers on Friday is: does this mark a bottoming out of the economy? Or are they the new normal? In which case, even if growth improves in subsequent quarters and we touch that 5-5.5% number, we would have to forget those magic years when we seemed tantalisingly close to a new Sardar rate of growth.
