An alluring facet of Narendra Modi's promise as BJP's PM candidate is his call to revitalise governance, growth and development across India. In his 'lalkar' rally in trouble-torn J&K, it's therefore praiseworthy that he focussed on these progressive tropes rather than predictable attacks on Pakistan, terrorism and separatism. He talked about bringing back films, tourism and trade to the state.
