Red terror rising in Nitish's Bihar
The expanding Maoist network in Bihar is worrying the Centre, which is already facing flak for failing to curb the rise of terror group Indian Mujahideen in the state. It's now wary of the Nitish Kumar government's strategy to counter the Red rebels. A note prepared by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and shared with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) blames the state government for the rise of Maoist activities and allowing them to gain foothold in new areas.
