Poll defeat to weaken Cong in Kerala!

The severe setback the Congress suffered in the Assembly polls in the North is set to further weaken the position of its Kerala unit, already beleaguered by charges of corruption scandals and protracted feuds within it. The disgruntled allies of the Congress in the ruling UDF it leads in Kerala are sure to step up pressures on its leadership in the State by using the defeat as an opportunity for shrewd bargaining by pointing out its frailties in the context of the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
