The Congress leadership is playing with fire by showing complacency towards the separatist tendencies in Kashmir valley

Notwithstanding the fact that  the Nehru-Gandhi family complicated matters for the nation in Jammu & Kashmir by according it a special status on purely religious grounds in October 1947, and handing over the State power to the votaries of plebiscite in February 1975, it did take a few corrective measures also to rectify some of the mistakes and salvage the situation.
