BJP says a 'diluted' Lokpal bill will not do

As the government prepares to table the Lokpal Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has warned that it will not accept a diluted version. While Anna Hazare fasts in Ralegan Siddhi, leaders of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and her counterpart in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley have asked the government to table the Bill with amendments that were unanimously adopted by the select committee and agreed upon by all the parties.
