Modi effect visible in UP, Bihar; dissatisfaction with UPA is high

To gauge the electoral mood in the key battleground states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar (80 and 40 LS seats respectively), the Think India foundation commissioned CSDS to do an in-depth survey of two bell weather Lok Sabha seats, Bhagalpur in Bihar and Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh.  We chose these constituencies because they have tended to reflect closely the overall voting patterns in their respective states in the recent past.
