Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is said to be weighing the several pros and as many cons of stepping aside months before the Lok Sabha polls to facilitate Rahul Gandhi’s formal anointment at the top, according to sources. But others cautioned that the situation was still unfolding and can take a turn in any direction.
