UPA extends a lifeline to 25 power projects

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Thursday signed off on concessions in the government’s policy on so-called mega power plants, throwing a lifeline to long-stuck power projects with a combined capacity of 33,000 megawatts (MW).
