Panagariya, key figure in BJP manifesto, calls for big rollback of UPA laws

Arvind Panagariya, an economist increasingly being seen in team Modi in the near future, has laid out a roadmap for the next Prime Minister. At least an economic roadmap. The markers in Panagariya's roadmap are easy to find: Quick recapitalisation of banks, extensive labour reforms, scrapping the new Land Acquisition Act, kickstarting privatisation of public undertakings and making sweeping changes in right to food and right to education laws.
