Modi for greater resource devolution to state govts

Gujarat chief minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has urged the Finance Commission to keep in mind the relative core competencies of states while allocating central resources and has called for greater devolution of central revenue to states.
