Anti-graft ordinances stalled due to President: Khurshid

Foreign minister Salman Khurshid on Sunday said President Pranab Mukherjee's reluctance to clear the ordinances had stalled the anti-corruption measures pushed by Rahul Gandhi. While it is known that Mukherjee's disagreement with the idea of an outgoing government bringing crucial bills through the ordinance route stalled the UPA move, it is the first time that a Cabinet minister has spelt out the reason in as many words.
