Modi to contest from Varanasi; aims to catalyse voter effect in eastern region

Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate, is set to contest from two seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from a seat in Gujarat, where he has been chief minister since late 2001, party sources say he's most likely to also contest from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
