Same old lapses led to Naxalite attack in Sukma

Tuesday's ambush of security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, which killed 14 personnel, is in keeping with the Maoist trend of launching attacks before and after elections as security is far tighter during polls. Some key lapses and shortcomings, however, contributed to the attack.
