Congress's endorsement of hate

The flimsy excuses that the Congress has offered in defence of its decision to retain hate-monger Imran Masood as its candidate for the Lok Sabha election from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, demonstrate the party's double-speak on checking abusive language in the political domain. Only days ago, party vice president Rahul Gandhi had claimed that the Congress did not indulge in hate, but that it spoke the language of love.
