Huge gains likely for BJP in Bihar, Jharkhand: Poll

Bihar and Jharkhand are in the grip of a Narendra Modi's wave, whereas regional parties like Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal hold fort in West Bengal and Odisha respectively. However, Congress has the upper hand in Assam, the only one of the five states in the eastern region where it has an edge over the BJP.
