‘Tandoor to Latur’, women unsafe under Congress, says Modi

Raising the issue of atrocities against women, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress at a poll rally in Chandrapur on Friday. Modi said “tandoor se Latur tak” Congress has a history (of atroricities against women) that the country hasn’t forgotten. He also raising the issue of a senior party leader’s alleged quid pro quo deal with Naxals for votes.
