The return of the Telugu Desam Party to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance's fold will not just strengthen the BJP and the coalition but also the TDP, whose leader, Mr Chandrababu Naidu, is on the upswing in Andhra Pradesh and keen to play an important role nationally. Politics in the State, especially since the decision to create a separate Telangana State out of Andhra Pradesh was taken, has been in a flux.
