Modi closes tap on revenge talk

The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Monday made it clear that he would never be vindictive. His comment came at a time when the party is facing flak over his confidant Amit Shah's 'revenge' remarks. "The party has bestowed me with certain responsibility. I want to make three promises – I will never be found wanting in hard work, I will not do anything for myself and I will not do anything with bad intent," he said at the function where the party released its poll manifesto.
